My love for photography started when I graduated from high school in 1992 with a
cheap point and shoot 35mm film camera. During my second year of college I bought
my first SLR, a Canon EOS Elan 2E film camera along with a Canon 28-105mm and 75-300mm
lens. My knowledge and experience in photography has grown exponentially since then.
With today’s technology, I have moved away from film and have pushed myself through
a few digital cameras. Today, my arsenal consists of a Canon EOS 7D camera and a
couple of luxury (L series) lenses. I have taken a few photography classes throughout
my college years, with Environmental Photography being my favorite and an elective
for my MS degree in Environmental Policy and Planning. I have also capitalized on
my photographic knowledge and experience working as an accident scene investigator
to document reality through photos that have been utilized to argue and win cases
in court rooms.
Although I love photography, it is unfortunate that it is not my full-time career,
but a wonderful hobby. It is my camera that gets me and my family out for our next
adventure!
